Mumbai Debut Marks a New Era in Sports Technology

Kabuni, an AI-powered global sports platform, officially launched at its debut Playtime 2026 event in Mumbai on 7 June 2026. The platform aims to transform cricket coaching by making elite-level training accessible to players of all ages and skill levels through real-time, personalised AI-driven guidance.

Positioned at the crossroads of sport, technology, and interactive learning, Kabuni introduces a new model of coaching that allows athletes to train anytime, anywhere, while receiving instant feedback to improve performance.

Super Coaches Bring Star Power and Inspiration

As part of its global unveiling, Kabuni introduced its “Super Coaches” – a lineup of legendary cricketers including Sourav Ganguly, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, and Shreyas Iyer. These icons will engage with young players through digital challenges, mentoring experiences, and youth tournaments designed to inspire the next generation of cricketers.

A Mission to Put Coaching in Every Pocket

At the core of Kabuni’s vision is a simple goal: to place a world-class cricket coach in every player’s pocket. The platform seeks to democratise access to high-quality coaching and replace passive screen time with active, skill-building experiences that encourage healthier engagement with technology.

Kabuni PlayOS Powers Real-Time Performance Insights

The platform is driven by Kabuni PlayOS, a proprietary AI system that analyses live gameplay and evaluates key performance areas such as timing, balance, footwork, alignment, and sequencing. It delivers instant, actionable feedback based on elite-level data, helping players refine their skills as they train.

India Chosen as Launchpad for Global Expansion

India has been selected as the launch market due to its deep cricket culture and massive fan base. After initial testing and partnerships with sporting bodies, Kabuni plans to expand globally later this year, scaling its technology to new markets.

National Campaign to Unlock Young Talent

Kabuni also launched its nationwide initiative, “Do You Want to Play for a Legend?”, targeting players aged 12–16. The campaign offers participants a chance to compete in trials, train on the platform, and earn selection into teams led by the Super Coaches, culminating in a national youth tournament.

Empowering the Next Generation

Founder Nimesh Patel said the platform is designed to remove barriers in coaching access and help young athletes reach their potential. Kabuni aims to complement traditional coaching while creating new pathways for talent development worldwide.
